Terms of Use
Last updated 21 August 2026
These terms govern your use of siyon.co.nz, operated by Siyon IT Ltd. They do not govern any engagement. That is set out in a separate written contract between us.
1. Use of this site
You may read, print and share these pages for your own business purposes. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or present its content as your own.
2. Nothing here is an offer or advice
Descriptions of services, timelines and engagement shapes on this site are indicative. They are not an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, or technical advice for your situation. Nothing becomes binding until both parties sign a written engagement contract.
3. Timelines and figures
Any duration or range shown, for example "6 to 12 weeks", describes typical past work under stated assumptions, chiefly that we have access to your source systems from the first week. Your engagement is estimated individually.
4. Intellectual property
The content, layout and code of this site belong to Siyon IT Ltd. Third-party names and trademarks, including the technologies listed on our service pages, belong to their owners and appear only to describe what we work with. Their appearance does not imply partnership, certification or endorsement in either direction.
5. Client work and IP
For engagements, our standard position is that intellectual property in what we build for you is assigned to you, and work happens in your repository from the first commit. That position is confirmed in the engagement contract, which prevails over this page.
6. Rockit Desk
Rockit Desk is our own product. It is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, not by this page, and leaving this site for it means leaving these terms behind.
7. External links
We link to third-party sites for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
8. Liability
This site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on its content. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where you deal with us in trade, those Acts are contracted out of to the extent permitted, in the engagement contract rather than here.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
